My work includes both oils and watercolors. Subjects consist mainly of seascapes, landscapes, figures and portraits. A native of Niagara Falls, NY, I have been drawing and painting all of my life. I pursued my early interest in art by studying under the Art Instruction Schools of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Later, I received additional instruction from numerous artists of national recognition.

Art is both exciting and personally rewarding to me. My approach in painting is an endeavor to produce work which is at the same time interesting, entertaining, artfully rendered, and reflective of those things occurring in nature which interest me most. I was a previous board member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina and have exhibited my work in numerous art shows throughout North Carolina, as well as having had my work presented in several one-man and two-man shows.  Having recently relocated to the Charleston, SC area, I am currently a member of the South Carolina Watermedia Society and the Charleston Artist Guild.
